“Sing unto the Lord a new song.” Ps. 98:1

The Sanctuary Choir at FBC leads the congregation in heartfelt praise and worship every Sunday morning and sings special music about once a month. This group is open to any new participant and rehearses every Sunday evening at 5:00 upstairs in the main building.

The Sanctuary Choir also puts on the Living Christmas Tree (LCT) once a year with a new theme or storyline each time. The LCT performance is usually the third weekend in December.

This gigantic Christmas Tree structure is about 30 feet tall and houses up to 40 singers at one time. Its amazing lighting displays and beautiful decorations draw a huge crowd each year.

The Praise Band is the group of instruments that accompanies our time of praise and worship and the choir specials every Sunday. The praise band rehearses every Sunday morning at 8:30 am in the Sanctuary. This is a tightly knit group and is only open to musicians with an upper-high-school performance capability on their instrument.

If you did not disable the automatic sound file on this page, you should be hearing the FBC Praise Band performing in live worship now.

Our Media Team is composed of trained and experienced individuals who are devoted to enhancing the worship time with their abilities. They run sound, lighting, radio, video, and MediaShout every Sunday morning. The Media Team offers DVD copies of every Sunday morning service at FBC for a ministry donation of $5 each. This cost is applied toward our media distribution ministry and makes the recording and distributing of the Sunday morning services possible.

extreme 98 is the name of our Student Music and Worship Arts Ministry. Students who participate in this ministry learn how to develop and apply their natural abilities in the areas of Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Drama, and Media/Technical. Every year, the students go on a reward / performance tour and share their talents in churches, malls, community centers, children’s homes, etc. Last year took us to Springfield, Missouri and this year we are heading westward through West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona all the way to Los Angeles, California. Students will perform three times on this tour and once for our home church upon returning.
