It is often uncomfortable to visit a new church for the first time or come back after a while away so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. People of all ages and backgrounds may be dressed in many different ways. From very casual to “Sunday best,” our people are different. We promise you will fit in.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Bible study groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Bible Study is the place where the life of the church happens, and we hope that you’ll be a part. These groups are designed for all ages. These experiences obviously vary from age group to age group. We encourage you to check out our ministry pages for a more complete look.
CHILDREN & CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Our nursery is provided every Sunday morning during both Sunday School and Worship Service by caring members who teach God’s word for children from birth through three years of age. There are also small groups for preschoolers and children at 9:30 am each Sunday. This allows parents the chance to attend a worship service and a small group.
Also, during our service, we have a time where we dismiss children from age 4 to 5th grade to be a part of children's church during the adult service. During this time, they will have a time of worship and teaching that is more age appropriate. This is merely an option. If your children would like to remain in adult service with you, that is acceptable as well.
For more information on our Preschool or Children Ministry, call (806) 385-4414.

WORSHIP
This time at 10:45 a.m. is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live worship with guitars, drums -the works, as well as more intimate songs of worship. A praise band and praise team lead us to connect with God. Some people are expressive; others are contemplative. You are unique. God wants to use your personality to connect with you. He is the audience that desires your participation. Talk to Him about how you will interact. We will be comfortable with what He instructs whether you are quiet and reflective or more lively and expressive.
OFFERING
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders and member, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives First Baptist Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
THE MESSAGE (SERMON)
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
INVITATION
At the end of his message our pastor will ask people to make spiritual commitments and next steps in their walk with God. You can become a member of FBC by:
*Trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and following Him in believer’s baptism
*Moving your membership from another Baptist church
*Moving your membership from another evangelical church that practices believer’s baptism
*Affirming your commitment to Christ and participating in believer’s baptism by immersion
*Attending a periodic First Look class to understand the vision and values of FBC Littlefield
